Experience Greece – Mamma Mia style

30th June 2009 Print
Adventure travel specialist Kumuka Worldwide has introduced a new family adventure visiting the Greek islands where Mamma Mia was filmed. The eight-night holiday starts and ends in Athens, and is fully-escorted by a local Kumuka guide.

The island-hopping trip includes all ferry travel around the Sporades islands to Skiathos, Skopelos – the location for many of the film’s scenes – and Alonissos, with stays in family-friendly hotels.

Suitable for families with children aged six years and upwards, with no more than 16 adults and children in a group, this summer’s tours start on 17 July, 7 August or 11 September. Kumuka is already taking advance bookings for dates next year.

The price is £1380 per adult and £1325 for children under 12 who share a room with two adults. This includes half board accommodation throughout, all travel around the Greek islands, sightseeing and entrance fees to places of interest along the way plus the expertise of a Kumuka tour leader.

Book a departure for this summer and there’s 10% off the price (saving £138 per adult and £132.50 per child).

Flights to/from Athens are not included, but can be arranged on request. If the tour and flights are booked together by Kumuka, the tour is discounted by a further 5% to 15%.
