Beach-side or beach-view in Turkey?

Journey Anatolia, the specialist in holidays to Turkey, has announced 10 per cent discounts on two very different villas for holidays taken between 7 September and the end of October.

Villa Senar (sleeps eight) is a modern property on the beautiful Kas peninsula with views across the Mediterranean to the Greek island of Meis. The villa is just a ten-second stroll from the beach down a private path but also has a swimming pool (shared), plus large private garden with patio, barbecue and sun loungers.

With the discount, a week’s rental is £720 in September or £540 in October.

For a second-to-none beach view, Villa Papatya is a three-bedroom mountainside house with sweeping views down the valley to Patara beach from the patio and private pool. Set in the village of Islamlar among lush green vineyards, olive groves and spring-fed trout farms, yet is only 15 minutes from the seaside town of Kalkan.

A week’s stay in September is now £864, falling to £540 in October.

Flights are not included: Dalaman airport is a couple of hours away and car hire can be arranged at a cost of £35 per day or return airport transfers from £160 for four people.
