Saga Rose bows out in style

Saga Rose, the record breaking classic cruise liner, will depart her homeport of Southampton on 30th October 2009 for the final time as she embarks on a 37-night Farewell Voyage around the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas.

Highlights of this special cruise will see Saga Rose leave Southampton saluted with a stunning aerial display from “The Blades” aerobatic team made up of former Red Arrows pilots.

Katherine Jenkins, the Welsh singing sensation will be one of many entertainers onboard who also include firm favourites Ronnie Corbett and Des O’Connor. Talks from Betty Boothroyd, Lord Carey and Olympic athlete Sally Gunnell will be amongst other activities as well as a fantastic sound and light show beside the great pyramids in Egypt.
