Get adventurous this summer

Adventure travel specialist Kumuka Worldwide is offering up to 25% off a range of adventure holidays departing between 1 October and 5 December 2009.

To qualify, bookings must be made via Kumuka’s UK website – kumuka.com – by midnight Sunday 12 July.

Small Group Tours and Overland Tours within Africa, Asia, Central and South America and the Middle East are discounted by 25%.

For example, a 114 day Grand South America Overland Tour – next departure 22 October – takes in Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Brazil and includes the Amazon Jungle, the Nazca Lines, the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, Santiago, the Morena Glacier, Punta Arenas and the Magellan Straits, Buenos Aires and Iguazu before ending in Rio de Janeiro.

The land-only price is usually £5,765 per person twin share – but book online by midnight Sunday and this is reduced to £4,424, saving £1,441 per person.

This includes all travel within South America (but not flights to/from), the services of Kumuka Tour Leader and Driver, a mix of hotel, hostel and camping accommodation with many meals included – particularly when trekking and camping. No more than 20 travellers will undertake the tour.

In Africa, a 42-day ‘Ultimate Wildlife Safari’ camping trip with departures on 8 and 22 November includes game-watching in Kenya’s Masai Mara and Ngorongoro Crater, as well as the Kruger National Park in South Africa as the trip travels from Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley to Tanzania, Lake Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique before ending in Johannesburg.

Usually £1,616 per person twin share, the 25% discount means a saving of £404 down to £1,212. Again, the tour is fully-escorted and includes most meals and all travel within Africa, but not flights to/from.
