Leave your wallet at home with free activities for kids

You can almost leave your wallet at home is the message to families this peak season from Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks in North Devon. The company is offering more than 40 free activities so Mum and Dad can enjoy a family break safe in the knowledge that they won’t have to shell out loads of cash to keep the youngsters amused.

Complimentary facilities include 10 heated indoor/outdoor pools, nine-hole golf, tennis, fishing, snooker, adventure play areas and cinema, along with free clubs for the children – from tots to teens – and evening entertainment.

Free activities close by include the huge ‘Blue Flag’ beach in Woolacombe village and walking on the miles of National Trust footpaths that criss-cross the area.

Accommodation options include luxury two-bedroom ‘Honeysuckle Lodges’ (sleeping six), a real ‘home from home’ and fully-equipped with everything a family needs, including the all essential washer-dryer.
