Family adventures in Kenya
Kumuka Worldwide, the adventure travel specialist, has introduced savings of up to 15% on all Family Adventures to the end of the year. Families with children as young as five can ride elephants in Sri Lanka, go rafting in Thailand or head off on safari in Kenya.All these holiday itineraries – fully-escorted by Kumuka guides – are discounted by 10%.
As an example, land-only arrangements on the ‘Giraffes, Elephants and Warriors’ safari in Kenya departing 22 August now costs £1787 per person (or £1161 for one child under 12 sharing with Mum and Dad) instead of £1985 (or £1290) representing a saving of up to £792 for a family of four. The 26 December departure – brochure price £2185 per person – is also available at 10% discount.
This nine-day safari provides opportunities to feed giraffes, meet orphaned baby elephants and explore the Masai Mara and other National Parks on game drives – plus children’s activities in special Adventurers Clubs, such as animal tracking and building a Masai shelter. The price includes eight nights’ accommodation, mostly in tented camps or lodges, most meals, all travel within Kenya, National Park fees, game drives, sightseeing and children’s activities.
Ask Kumuka to book flights to Africa in conjunction with this trip and it is discounted by a further 5% to 15% - saving up to £1192 on a family of four.
Alternatively, the saving on Kumuka’s 12-day ‘Elephants, Fire Walkers and Beaches’ tour of Sri Lanka departing15 August is £276 based on two adults and two children travelling together: the tour usually costs £690 per person. If flights are booked in conjunction with the tour, this saving increases to £414.
