Join the grandstand crowd for Schumacher’s return Since the news was released last week that Michael Schumacher is to come out of retirement to drive for Ferrari and cover for Felipe Massa as he recovers from the crash at the Hungarian Grand Prix, the UK’s leading motor sport travel specialist Grandstand Motors Sports has seen a 200% surge in traffic to its website.

Motor sports fans are racing to get tickets for what could be the last chance to see Schumacher in action and also witness the prospect of current World Champion Lewis Hamilton taking on the seven times former World Champion.

With only seven races left to the end of the season and only three in Europe, tickets to Valencia on 23rd August, Belgium on 30th August and Italy on 13th September are selling particularly well at the Leicester based company. However demand for the Singapore race on 27th September and the new race in Abu Dhabi on 1st November, which is also the season finale, have also seen increased demand.

Commenting on the season so far and this unexpected demand for tickets Di Simons, general manager of Grandstand Motor Sports said “The dominance of Brawn F1 and Red Bull has stunned and enthralled us all during the first half of the season. The recent re-emergence of McLaren and Ferrari has added a new twist and now there's the promise of a head-to-head between Hamilton and Schumacher on two of the best circuits on the calendar. With all this going on the races at Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) and Monza (Italy) will be awesome. Our phones are ringing non-stop and demand for rooms, flights and grandstand seats is incredible”.

Grandstand Motor Sports offers the finest choice of international motor sports holidays with a range of service stretching from simple race ticket reservations to comprehensive, fully inclusive, individually tailor-made itineraries. The company has many years experience of organising specialist tours and packages for motor sports enthusiasts and, as part of the award-winning Titan Travel Group, offers customers complete satisfaction and peace of mind.

Departing on Friday 28 August a three night package to the Belgian Grand Prix starts from £399 per person. The cost includes return Eurostar tickets, accommodation for 3 nights in a 4 star hotel in central Brussels and track transfers on Saturday and Sunday. Race tickets cost from £135 per person. Travel by air from Gatwick, Heathrow and a range of regional airports also available, as well as self-drive options.
