August Bank Holiday bargains

There are big savings to be made for families who can hang on to start their break until last week of the school holidays.

Savings of up to £148 are on offer from Cornish Cottages on a selection of properties in south-west Cornwall for week commencing 29 August.

The maximum reduction is on a week’s rental of Pebbledene, a three-bedroom, single-storey cottage (sleeps six) which is set in a delightful rural location just a mile from the coastal village of Coverack and two miles from the market town of Helston. The new price is £590 (saving £148).

With more and more properties coming onto its books each week this summer, Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire is highlighting bargain prices for the last week of the school holidays.

For example, a week’s rental of Machlud Haul (sleeps five) is now £417 for week commencing 29 August, a saving of £46. Set on a hillside, just yards from the Coastal Path, this single-storey cottage has sea views from every room and is a few minutes’ walk from Abereiddy beach.
