The company is highlighting short break packages to the city – birthplace of the legendary motorbike and home to the Harley Davidson Museum – which include four days’ hire of a Harley FatBoy, Soft Tail or Sportster.

The $75 million museum - designed by the grandson of a Harley founder Willie G Davidson – is home to hundreds of exhibits and artefacts including the world’s oldest Harley, now completely encased in glass.

For licence holders who fancy ‘burning rubber’, a three-night fly-bike break in late September or throughout October costs £899 per person.

This twin share price includes return flights from Gatwick and hire of any of the above bikes, with full insurance cover, unlimited mileage and helmets.

Attractions – all reachable within four days – include Mount Rushmore, the Crazy Horse Monument, the shores of Lake Michigan and Lake Erie, Chicago and Route 66.

Hotel accommodation can be arranged on request. For more information, visit bon-voyage.co.uk/spotlight.
