Connections, the specialist independent travel division of Titan Travel, has launched a comprehensive new brochure of Elegant River Cruises for 2010.The new 115 page brochure features two new additions to its European range of luxurious river cruises, enabling clients to explore ‘Springtime Along the Rhine’, and a 15 day ‘Grand France’ itinerary, which combines Paris and Normandy with Burgundy and Provence.
For those travellers wishing to take advantage of a ‘no flight’ holiday the brochure highlights the option to travel with Eurostar to join a number of European itineraries. A range of festive river cruises are also featured, taking travellers to a number of famed Christmas markets along the Rhine, Maine, Danube and Seine. The new ‘Springtime Along the Rhine’ itinerary, is an 8-day voyage beginning in the vibrant city of Amsterdam and follows the Rhine to Frankfurt, providing a perfect blend of nature, art and history along the way. The cruise includes city tours to Cologne, Mainz and Frankfurt, plus a stroll through the floral landscape of Keukenhof Gardens, and visits to a number of key museums. Departures are available from late March to mid-April, with prices from £1,395 per person. Cost includes return flights, transfers, full-board accommodation on the River Empress and a full range of shore excursions, with the use of Quietvox portable audio headsets, the services of a tour manager and VIP Home Departure Service.
A new 15 day 'Grand France' itinerary is also included for the first time to combine a river cruise of Paris and Normandy with Burgundy and Provence, taking travellers the length and breadth of France from Monet’s garden at Giverny to the Lavender fields of Provence, with city tours of Paris, Rouen, Lyon and Avignon. The tour leads in at £3,095 per person departing in March 2010. These include an 8 day ‘River Tosca Nile Cruise’ taking in the legendary Valley of the Kings and the temples of Karnak and Luxor. The cruises run year round and leads in at £1,695 to include return flights to Luxor, transfers, full-board accommodation on the River Tosca, a full range of shore excursions, the serves of a tour manager and the VIP Home Departure Service.
Another highlight of the new brochure is the exciting range of cruises over the festive period.
