Magical Morocco gets under the skin
‘Magical Morocco’ explores every aspect of this diverse country from the labyrinthine souks of the imperial cities to the windswept heights of the Atlas Mountains. This 14 night small-group tour with local guides gets right under the skin of Morocco, says adventure travel specialist Kumuka Worldwide.Highlights include watching sunrise over the Sahara after a night under the stars in the Merzouga Sand Dunes, an encounter with Berbers and a walk in the Todra Valley.
The cities of Casablanca – where the tour starts and ends – Morocco, Fes, Tangier and Rabat are all visited during the itinerary, which takes in Morocco’s coastal fortresses as well as mountain villages.
The holiday includes all travel within Morocco by air-conditioned coach, walking tours and – of course – a camel ride. Accommodation is in hotels, except for one night under canvas, with breakfast provided each day and lunch and dinner every other day. The trip is led throughout by a knowledgeable local guide and an experienced driver.
The price, based on two sharing, is £1080. A single supplement of £312 applies. Flights to/from Casablanca are not included, but may be booked by Kumuka on request.
