Enjoy a Sicilian September

7th September 2009 Print
Enjoy a Sicilian September With its wonderful climate, Sicily is a top holiday destination all year round and each season has its own distinctive charm. September is a great time to visit the beautiful island, as the weather is pleasant, the beaches are peaceful and the sea is still warm from the scorching August sun.

So if you haven’t had a holiday this summer, or the one you had has become a distant memory, you may be interested to hear that one of Eurocamp’s most popular parcs - El Bahira - in Sicily is open until 26 September.

El Bahira - set in a stunning palm-fringed location, west of Palermo and 3km from the pretty town of San Vito lo Capo – is perfectly placed to take advantage of everything for which Sicily is famed, including heavenly beaches, glorious food and stunning scenery.

On site, there’s plenty to keep you occupied, with two swimming pools - both filled by the clear blue water of the Mediterranean – as well as facilities including tennis, fishing and volleyball. For those interested in some underwater exploration, the parc also organizes supervised deep sea diving sessions at a nearby beach.

El Bahira has direct access to the beach and is just a short drive from the nature reserves of Monte Cofano and Zingaro, with the historic towns of Mozia, Trapani, Segesta and Erice a little further afield.

Book now and a seven-night stay at Eurocamp’s El Bahira parc in San Vito lo Capo, Sicily (arriving 19 September 2009) costs just £226 for the whole family, staying in a two bedroom ‘Superior’ mobile home (sleeps seven max), accommodation only.

Alternatively, 2010 may seem a long way off, but by booking a Eurocamp holiday before 31st October, families or couples can ensure first dibs on preferred parcs, dates and accommodation - and save up to 25% too!

A seven-night stay at Eurocamp’s El Bahira parc during May half-term next year (arriving Saturday 29 May 2010) costs just £496.75 for the whole family, staying in a two bedroom ‘Superior’ mobile home (sleeps seven max) with air conditioning and decking, accommodation only.

Ferry crossings, fly-drive packages or rail travel can be arranged through Eurocamp at a supplement.
