16th September 2009 Print
A leading UK tour operator and specialist to Corsica has added 14 new properties to its 2010 collection of villas, apartments and hotels on the island, catering for increased capacity following the announcement that no frills' airline Bmibaby is commencing a new service to Bastia, from East Midlands Airport.

Over 100 hand-picked properties feature in the new Corsican Places 2010 brochure, due to be officially launched to customers in October, with further properties displayed online. Holidaymakers have the choice of a wide range of accommodation-only options, in addition to the tour operator's flight-inclusive packages, enabling customers to have the flexibility of using low cost flights.

Corsican Places product manager, Amandine Blanchard said:

"We have a great selection of accommodation throughout Corsica for 2010, however with our stronghold particularly in the north of the island, the new Bastia service from East Midlands is a welcome addition".

The new flight commences on 30th May 2010 and will operate on Sundays until 26th September 2010. Flights are now on sale with prices starting from £39.99 one way including taxes and charges. Corsican Places is offering accommodation-only options from £500, based on the property price for a one bed apartment which sleeps two and flight inclusive packages from £399 per person, based on a two bed apartment which sleeps four. Properties include premium villas with private pools, which are characterised by their superb locations and awe-inspiring views plus rural cottages, contemporary apartments and family residences as well as hotel options ranging from the simple 2* family auberge to the best in Corsica - 4* luxe.

Car hire packages are also available through Corsican Places offering value for money with highly competitive prices.
