Autumn guided walking breaks in the UK

For a great value autumn break, HF Holidays – the UK’s largest specialist walking and leisure activity holidays company – suggests staying at one of its UK Country Houses and enjoying a guided walking break amid the autumnal hues of the UK countryside.

In addition, there are savings on selected October dates in the Northern Lake District - where there’s a choice of walks to suit ability in the Lake District National Park taking in lakeside paths, wooded valleys, open moorlands and mountain tarns.

Walking options include the wooded valley of Borrowdale, the wooded slopes of Whinlatter or an ascent of summits such as Helvellyn, Great Gable and Scafell Pike.
