Halloween horror at Universal Studios
Short breaks in Florida – with a catalogue of horror on the menu - is the offer this Halloween from US operator, Bon Voyage.Between 24 September and 31 October, the Universal Studios Orlando theme park is transformed into the US’s premier Halloween event.
There’ll be eight haunted houses, six scare zones and lurid live shows directly inspired by some of today’s most popular horror films – such as SAW and Chucky – while an army of mutants, monsters and maniacs will be roaming the darkened studio streets.
In addition, Universal Studios is partnering with Universal Pictures to bring one of the year’s most highly anticipated horror films – the Wolfman – to life so guests can experience it firsthand before being released later in the year.
For those who fancy ‘feeling the fear’, the company is highlighting five-night breaks taking in the event from £599 per person. This twin share price includes return flights from Heathrow and room-only accommodation at the four-star Doubletree Hotel Universal Studios.
The package also includes a frequent ‘fear pass’, entitling visitors to experience the Resort’s ‘Halloween Horror Nights’ as often as they dare.
Bon Voyage is keen to stress that this ‘greatest exhibition of fear’ is not suitable for children under the age of 13 – or faint hearted adults!
