Jaguar sightings and luxury Galapagos cruising Reef & Rainforest Tours (reefandrainforest.co.uk) is offering savings on two incredible wildlife encounters this autumn and winter.

Save £100 per person on 12-night “Pantanal Jaguar Safari” and enjoy a record number of jaguar sightings - Reef & Rainforest Tours is claiming a record number of jaguar sightings made by recent guests at the Jaguar Research Centre in Pantanal, Brazil.

In the last two years over 100 jaguars, one of the most elusive big cats, have been seen by Reef & Rainforest Tours clients. One group saw nine different cats on 13 separate sightings. The Pantanal has only recently been recognised as an impressive South American wildlife spotting destination, home to the South American ‘Big 5’ - giant anteaters, giant otters, tapirs, pumas and jaguars.

The 12-night itinerary costs £4,750 per person and departs 13 October 09 – a saving of £100 per person. The trip is led by local naturalist guides and includes full board accommodation, economy flights from London Heathrow to Sao Paulo, transfers and guided activities.

2 for 1 special on 7-night MV Eclipse “Galapagos Cruise”, one of the most luxurious and spacious expedition ships cruising the Galapagos Islands - the MV Eclipse is returning to the Galapagos following her annual refit, and to celebrate Reef & Rainforest Tours is offering a special two for the price of one. From the comfort of the MV Eclipse, guests will be able to explore this remarkable island ecosystem.

The seven night cruise will sail around the main islands of Santa Cruz, Santiago, Fernandina and Isabela, anchoring offshore at two visitor sites per day. There will also be a visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station to learn more about the huge efforts being made by scientists and park managers to preserve this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

On board facilities include sea views from all cabins, air conditioning throughout, satellite phone, observation / sun deck with Jacuzzi, al fresco dining, well-stocked library and complimentary use of snorkelling equipment, wetsuits and kayaks. Passengers also benefit from a high staff to passenger ratio and four onboard naturalist guides. Onboard activities range from stargazing to musical entertainment.

The seven-night itinerary costs from £1,485 per person and departs 3 October and 12 December 09 – a saving of £2,970 per couple. This price, which relates to the least expensive cabin, includes all shore excursions, all on board meals with two glasses of house wine with lunch and dinner, all on board soft drinks and juices, VIP lounge on outbound flight from Galapagos, complimentary use of snorkelling equipment and wet suits.

Both of these itineraries need to be booked as soon as possible to take advantage of these special savings.
