Warm up & wake up with Spa at Chancery Court

23rd January 2007 Print
Spa At Chancery Court Get physical with the Spa at Chancery Court’s new Fire, Ice & Spice ritual, launching February 2007. This innovative treatment is the latest in spa therapy and has been created to help guests give their heart a work out, without having to leave the comfort of this award-winning holistic haven. Based on the principles of the fitness technique Peripheral Heart Action, it is designed to strengthen the circulation system, aid detoxification and encourage healing.

Fire, Ice & Spice provides the ultimate wake up call to the body, representing a new generation in physiologically-beneficial spa treatments. Cool ice pads and hot basalt lava stones are used at either end of the body at the same time, along with spicy ESPA Body and Bath Oils, to pummel and massage muscles. The combination of cool and warm sensations stimulates blood flow throughout the body, helping to detoxify and heal. The pulse is raised, improving cardiovascular efficiency, whilst the pummelling massage movements simultaneously stress and soothe muscles.

This is the ideal treatment for those already struggling to keep their healthy new year’s resolutions and looking for a more indulgent way to give the body a mini MOT. Dedicated fitness fanatics will also find the treatment beneficial, as it eases muscular tension and soothes tired, stiff and aching joints, particularly before or after physical activity.

Fire, Ice & Spice is available from 1st February as part of Fiesta Fiesta! month at Renaissance Chancery Court, with caipirinhas served in the CC Bar and fiesta-themed food on the menu in The Lounge. The ritual lasts 55 minutes and costs £85, which includes a 50ml bottle of Fitness Body Oil.

A haven of tranquillity, The Spa at Chancery Court features six individual treatment rooms, a Couples VIP Suite, Finishing Touches Suite and a blissful gold leaf Relaxation Room with Lifestyle Shower and Crystal Steam Room and Sauna. Awarded the coveted ‘Best Day Spa of the Year’ at the prestigious British Beauty Awards 2004, the Spa’s Asian-influenced design by ESPA includes rich surroundings of polished teak and bamboo with slate and limestone.
