The Raemoir Grand Summer Prom 2007

Raemoir House Hotel is proud to announce the return of the Scottish Festival Orchestra on Saturday 9th June 2007, headlined by exceptional, new up and coming classical singer Nicky Spence (as seen on the Classical Brit Awards for ITV).

Nicky Spence released his debut album earlier this month ‘My First Love’ is out now on Universal Classics. He also opened for Dame Shirley Bassey’s Arena Tour with the National Symphony Orchestra, has sung with Lesley Garrett and has won a host of accolades including the prestigious Kathleen Ferrier Young Singers Award.

The Scottish Festival Orchestra will once again be led by internationally acclaimed Maestro Iain Sutherland on the prom evening. All guests are welcome to bring picnics, low back chairs and rugs in order to picnic in style and enjoy the prom classics.

David Webster from Raemoir House Hotel commented, “The opportunity to host Nicky Spence’s first performance in the North East was too good an opportunity to miss. We are delighted to welcome back the orchestra and the Maestro Iain Sutherland. We received such good feedback last year that we simply couldn’t resist holding another Prom.”

Tickets for the open-air orchestra are priced at; £20 for a picnic ticket; £35 for a VIP ticket; £150 for a gazebo pitch.

Schools and large groups will receive 25% off ticket prices when booking for groups over ten and 50% off for groups over twenty.
