New theme park opening in Kansas
With less than 90 days to go until the Grand Opening of Kansas’ Largest Attraction, Wild West World Theme Park has completed all major construction, is holding several events and hiring more to its growing staff.The Theme Park is currently ahead of schedule with 95% of the total construction completed. The remaining days will be used to pave the walkways in the park, finalize ride installation and prepare for the 500,000 visitors that are anticipated in Kansas’ only theme park. Several rides, like El Diablo, Fiesta Grande and the Crazy Mouse Rollercoaster are installed.
In less than two years from concept to conception, Wild West World will offer twenty-four rides ranging from the mild to wild when open on May 5, 2007. Wild West World will also entertain guest with five shows daily throughout the park. Accompanying the rides and shows, visitors can eat at any one of the nineteen concession facilities ranging from restaurants to Cold Stone Creamery. Finally, guests can stroll among some of the finest mercantiles the Old West has to offer on Main Street and within the park. In all, folks coming to Wild West World can expect over 100 Family-Friendly Experiences!
Wild West World is the first major theme park in Kansas and the world’s only all-western theme park conveniently located 4 miles North of Wichita.
