Red Arrows are back to visit Bournemouth

24th July 2007 Print
The Red Arrows Bournemouth is once again set to enjoy a spectacular air show when the Red Arrows return to Bournemouth. The display team of nine Red Arrows will travel from the East Cliff to the West Cliff along the seafront performing their aerobatic moves including the Big Vixen Roll, Short Diamond Loop to the Champagne Split.

The air spectacular is expected to kick off at 11.15am with the Tucano display, before the Red Arrows start at midday.

Since their first display in the UK in 1965, the Red Arrows have never failed to impress those who watch from the ground as their red, blue and white vapour follows their every move.

Their famous aircraft, the Hawk Mk 1, will carry out the manoeuvres parallel to the crowd and will possibly fly as low as 300 feet so spectators really do feel part of the action.

Bournemouth offers a range of accommodation to suit all budgets and tastes. Stay for two-nights in a comfy family friendly guest house from only £70pp with bed and breakfast included. Or why not really treat yourself and stay two-nights in a luxury 4* hotel from only £160pp with bed and breakfast.

For more information visit Bournemouth.co.uk.

All money raised from the Red Arrows spectacular will be for the benefit of Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA) Dorset. For further information visit the Bournemouth Red Arrows Association website at Braa.org.uk.
