A bumper summer for events up north

It is going to be a jam-packed summer of events in North East England with everything from stunning exhibitions to International festivals, meaning there’s never been a better time to visit.

And to make things even easier the “Save your Summer” campaign has been launched offering a number of fantastic offers on accommodation.

So whether you’re looking for a weekend break-away or a longer getaway without having to break the bank why not take advantage of these special discounts.

The Sage Gateshead also has a packed programme of events including the West End classic ‘We Will Rock You’ performed by a dynamic and home-grown young cast on September 1st and the most thrilling Flamenco act in the world today – the Alquimia Flamenco company, who will be performing their breathtaking act in a rare visit to the UK on September 7.

If it’s garden’s you’re interested in there are a host of activities at the world famous Alnwick Garden where you can delight at the garden’s many water features, explore the Poison Garden or climb up one of the world’s largest treehouses.
