20th August 2007 Print
Old Cowtown Museum Mike Wasson, owner and proprietor of Big Mike's Little Theatre, has announced that the popular Mystery Dinner Theatre will be offering quality whodunit mystery entertainment at Wichita's Old Cowtown Museum beginning September 1st.

With the grand re-opening of Cowtown’s Empire House Theatre, the mystery dinner theatre will complement the increasing number of entertainment and educational choices at Old Cowtown. Also, filming at the historic Old Cowtown Museum has now started for the motion picture “The Only Good Indian”. Old Cowtown will be a ‘closed set’ for the duration of the filming.

Having produced mystery theater for the past six years at Wyldewood Cellars in Mulvane, Big Mike's Little Theatre will be a separate venture that will offer dinner and comedic Murder Mysteries every Friday and Saturday evenings through the end of the year beginning with "MURDER RIDES AGAIN", a wild western whodunit where audience members are encouraged to solve the evenings crime and win prizes at the end of the performance.

Extra performances are scheduled in December. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with a four-course dinner served throughout the show. Cost for the evening of entertainment is $28 for the 2-½ hour performance. Tea, coffee and water will be included with the meal of Soup, Salad, Barbeque Beef Brisket entrée, and cheesecake dessert.
