Welcome to Birmingham’s Big Weekend

With over 25 hours of live performances, 400 performers plus stunning street art and theatre, and 32 venues showcasing the best of the West Midlands art’s scene, Artsfest is the UK's largest free arts festival and is not to be missed.

From Ballet to Bhangra, Indie bands to Inspirational art, Samba music to the Short Cuts Film Festival, Comedy on the bmibaby beach to Classical Fantasia with the CBSO, Jasper Carrot at the walk of stars and countless hours of free family fun entertainment the general public are being encouraged to come and enjoy the Big Birmingham weekend.

This is the 10th year of the famed Artsfest weekend in Birmingham. The Big weekend starts with a Friday night of live music including the "Made in the Midlands" Indie invasion night at Centenary Square, with chart topping acts and Blast at Millennium point, an exhilarating evening of sound, light and fire extravaganza with twice nominee Richard Wilson as one of the displaying artists.
