Pannacotta army on view in Cheshire

This will be the first time the army has been seen outside their home of Cheshire Bakers, Roberts where master bakers reinvented the terracotta warriors using sugar and spice.
While the Terracotta army is in total 7000 strong, the first 7000 visitors to this year’s Festival will each receive a ginger memento to mark this astonishing exhibit and Cheshire Farm ice cream has joined in by creating an “Army Special ice cream” - delicious stem ginger and pannacotta flavour.
Roberts Bakery, festival sponsors, Kellie Burgess said: “We have been amazed at the interest shown in the Terracotta army and wanted to treat Cheshire visitors to a private viewing, so we came up with our own idea of the Pannacotta Army.”
The Festival opens this Friday with Clarissa Dickson Wright. It features wild food foraging events, low mileage menus, a kid’s kitchen and over 2,000 samples of gourmet food available to taste throughout the weekend.
