Malta hosts clash of footballing legends

One of the most eagerly anticipated events in the Maltese sports and music calendar this autumn is the Italy vs England Legends Match which will see football legends; Paul Gascoigne, Ian Rush, Les Ferdinand, Toto Schillaci, Beppe Signori and Paolo Rossi, and international music stars Craig David, Simon Webb and Simply Red’s Mick Hucknall participate in an epic football match.

This event takes place on 1 November at the Ta' Qali National Stadium, and will be followed by a gala dinner of which the footballers and music personalities playing in the match will be attending.

Simply Red will then perform live in concert the following day, 2 November, alongside Maltese finest music artists.

These two events form part of the Malta Music Festival, held over two days which is a first-time mix for Malta. The Malta Tourism Authority is one of the main sponsors of these events.

Tickets for these events are currently on sale from Maltamusicfestival.com. A local booking fee of Lm0.50c / €1.16 will be charged on each ticket purchased.
