New short breaks guide to Royal Windsor A new short breaks guide to Windsor and the Royal Borough, Berkshire (England) features a heritage walking trail leading from Windsor Castle, across the Thames to Eton College helping visitors to discover over a thousand years of history.

The guide encourages visitors to stop along the way taking in a visit to Windsor Castle, a riverboat trip with French Brothers or a guided tour of Eton College. It also contains information about the many gift shops and designer outlets in Windsor Royal Shopping tempting them as they explore the towns; and the welcoming cafés, bars and restaurants offering 16 different types of cuisine awaiting their custom.

Although less than thirty miles west of London, the Royal Borough boasts over twenty visitor attractions. Combine this with a lively, happening, exciting ambience and it has the formula for one of Britain’s coolest short break destinations.
