Palm Beach County, Florida’s hotspot for 2008, have release their calendar of events and a guide to what’s hot and happening in the first half of 2008. This includes a whole host of festivals and events from concerts to sailing, music and culture, sports and antiques, and all sorts of other exciting affairs.A trip to Orlando doesn’t just have to be about the kids. For those that want to sample some of Florida’s more cultural experiences, kick back and relax in some of the State’s finest hotels, or ‘shop ‘til you drop’ on Worth Avenue, Palm Beach’s answer to Rodeo Drive, this truly beautiful part of Florida has plenty to keep the whole family entertained. Only an hour’s drive from Miami, and just over 2 hours from Orlando, Palm Beach is a great alternative to more well known destinations such as Fort Lauderdale and Clearwater.

Evening on the Avenues – Enjoy live music on the cultural Plaza’s Main stage, arts and crafts vendors, classis cards, outdoor dining and family fun as you take a stroll through the many specialist boutiques and galleries. Admission Free.
Palm Beach Princess – A five hour lunch of dinner coastal casino cruise with 15,000 sq. foot of casino, lavish buffet, mini spa, boutiques and five lounges.
Motown at the Colony – Friday night have become Motown nights at the Colony Hotel. Enjoy music from the Temptations, The Supremes, and Marvin Gay to name but a few.
Lion Country Safari – Drive through a safari with hundreds animals roaming free and an amusement park with animal encounters. Rides, shopping, food and thrills for all the family.

Palm Beach Contemporary Art Fair – This 4 day event showcases established and mid career artists, introduces the most talented newcomers and brings together a stellar line-up of prestigious international exhibitors from contemporary and modern art galleries around the world.
The Palm Beach Cavallino Classic XVIII and Classic Sports Sunday – this event is a convention for Ferrari owners and enthusiasts, with participants and their Ferraris.

America’s International Fine Arts and Antiques Fair – America’s No. 1 Fine Arts Fair thee destination under the sun for those who love art. Featuring fully vetted works from 100 of the world’s leading international dealers and over five millennia of museum quality arts from around the world.

Annual Boat Show – One of the top 10 boat shows in America which features more than £150 million worth of boats, super yachts and accessories from every major marine manufacture worldwide.

Party for the Planet – Come out and celebrate Earth Day! This event was created to help visitors discover ways to connect to the local environment and make a collective difference in conservation on a national and global level. The events include face painting, games, arts, crafts, live animal encounters and shows.

Riverdance – The internationally acclaimed celebration of Irish music, song and dance that has touched the hearts of millions around the world – a family evening unlike anything else.

Father’s Day – the first 500 farthers and grandfathers will receive free admission to the Palm Beach Zoo with a paying child. Create a card for date, live music and much more.
