Hamilton fans in race for dream tickets

5th March 2008 Print
Britain needs a hero. With England’s footballers out of the EURO 2008 and Tim Henman over the hill, the country is rooting for Formula One sensation, Lewis Hamilton.

Page & Moy, the UK’s leading motor sports specialist, is fuelling speculation by offering F1 fanatics a Grand Prix experience of a lifetime - the ultimate dream ticket to 11 of the top races, including Monaco, Italy, Brazil and the two new meetings in Valencia and Singapore – all for £11,000. That’s about what McLaren will fork out for a set of break discs and pads at Monaco alone!

The price includes flights (where applicable), hotel and circuit transfers, accommodation at four-star hotels, a grandstand seat and the services of a tour guide. If you have serious money to burn, for around £32k, you can include access to the much coveted VIP paddock areas.

The packages have been created for the thousands of fans who until now have only seen the sport from their armchairs and are now demanding a chance to support their new hero up close and personal from the grandstands.

For the real hard core Lewis Hamilton fans this is a special treat as the holidays have been designed to take them to all the races Britain’s new hero just failed to tuck under his belt last season.

David Wilkinson, Product Manager for Motor Racing at Page & Moy says: “Of course, fans do not need to spend £11k to get their Hamilton fix. Prices start from just £498 per person, for a two-night, four-star break to the British Grand Prix in July, rising to £2,484 for a memorable, seven night trip to the new Singapore Grand Prix in September.

“The UK has gone motor racing mad this year and that’s all down to Hamilton’s extraordinary rise through the Grand Prix ranks. He has enjoyed incredible success and acclaim in his maiden season and 2008 can only bring more excitement. We just knew we had to give the fans what they wanted – a chance to see Britain’s chosen hero at close quarters.” says Wilkinson.
