What do London’s fish swim in?

What do London’s fish swim in? Having got wind that a glass of London’s tap water has allegedly passed through 8 other Londoners, a delegation from the Austrian Tirol is coming to London from 27th – 30th May to hand out twenty five thousand free bottles of pure, Tirolean water. The bottles of water will be given to passer’s by at Canary Wharf DLR station on 27th and 28th May, from 7am, and on 29th and 30th May at Liverpool Street station.

Tirol Tourist Office’s PR Manager, Eckard Speckbacher, said

“When we heard that London’s tap-water may have passed through 8 other people by the time you drink it we decided to bring some Tirolean water over to London to demonstrate the purity of our landscape, with water that has only been `passed by mountains’.

The Austrian Tirol’s landscape is dominated by the Alps, which traverse east to west across the province. Water is filtered down through the limestone via 10,000 springs, and even the tap water is purer than most bottled mineral water.

As well as having the chance to drink water passed by mountains, recipients of the water bottles can enter a free prize draw to win a 3 night stay in the Tirol region, including return flights and half board accommodation in the Oetz Valley, one of the most beautiful natural settings in the province.

Eckard Speckbacher added “It makes me wonder what London’s fish swim in?”
