Roskilde Festival is set to rock Denmark

This is the place to experience new sounds and names, contemporary stars and timeless legends. Roskilde Festival has surprised its audience throughout its history, so you just prepare yourself for getting totally amazed again.
This is a non-profit making event. When you buy your ticket for Roskilde Festival, you are supporting a good cause. Each year, the Festival donates any profits from the festival to humanitarian and cultural purposes.
Who is playing?
Listen to this: More than 130 international artists appear during this annual event . The line-up this year includes names like Radiohead, Gnarls Barkley, Duffy, Alphabeat, Kate Nash, Jay-Z, The Raveonettes, The Streets, Goldfrapp and Chemical Brothers. The best artists from Canada, USA, Kenya, Brazil, Sweden, Norway, Finland, France and Spain and many other countries will be there too – will you?
When is it?
The dates are 3 - 6 July + warm-up from 29 June. Roskilde Festival 2008 focuses extensively on 'More Than Music' – fun, peculiar and thought-provoking experiences that make the festival a unique experience.
In the first four days of the festival – from Sunday 29 June to Wednesday 2 July – there will be a warm up with activities, cinema, skate and art events and much more on the entire camping area.

For a supplement you can also get a pre-erected tent.

How do I get there?
SAS Scandinavian Airlines offers frequent and convenient flights. From London Heathrow, London City Airport, Birmingham, Manchester and Aberdeen. Flight times are under 2 hours.

Roskilde is located 35 km from Copenhagen. You can take the train direct to Roskilde which stops at the festival's very own train station.
