Follow in the footsteps of Andy Murray this June

Take part in the UK’s version of one of the world’s most respected tennis programmes, at the Nick Bollettieri Junior Tennis Clinic, taking place from the 22nd – 27th June 2008. The original academy is situated in Florida’s Gulf Islands and has helped many of the world’s top players including Andy Murray, Andre Agassi and Maria Sharapova. The programs are the most comprehensive in the industry and include video analysis, mental and physical training options aimed to improve court performance.

The UK IMG/Bollettieri Junior Tennis Clinics will take place at the Streetly Tennis Club in Sutton Coldfield from the 22nd – 27th June. The daily schedule consists of drills, competitive play, physical conditioning and mental toughness and there is the chance to win two scholarships of one week’s training at the original Academy in Florida’s Gulf Islands. Registration starts at 08:30am and will end around 04:30pm, lunch is provided.

Florida’s Gulf Islands are located on the West Coast of Florida, 45 minutes from Tampa and just one and half hours drive from Orlando. The area has beautiful, white sand beaches, wildlife and a string of unspoilt natural islands, comprising what many refer to as ‘hidden Florida’. The Gulf Islands also offers a fantastic range of boutique hotels for visitor to take advantage of, with a selection of beach cottages and bungalow suites to choose from.
