World Taekwondo cultural expo

Korea Tourism Organizations have announced the ‘2008 World Taekwondo Culture Expo’. The event will be held in Jeonju & Maju within the province of Jeonbuk and the organising committee expects thousands of international practioners to visit the Expo. The basis of the event is to promote friendship amongst Taekwondo enthusiasts from around the globe and provide attendees with a diverse cultural experience that combines Korean traditions with Taekwondo.

Muju is the site of the World Taekwondo Park, which is to be completed by 2013, and this years Expo will be a welcome boost to highlighting the full potential the World Taekwondo Park will assume when in operation in 2013.

A whole range of cultural events, ceremonies, seminars, dinners and parties await attendees and will be spread across eight action packed days.
