Some of the Gold Coast’s most talented chefs and restaurateurs will tempt you to visit the Gold Coast across the two week Tastes of Gold Coast Food and Wine Festival to sample the lifestyle, landscape and culture of the destination.

Unique and often quirky locations, with local provedores serving regionally produced food and wine, will be proudly on show, so gather your friends and join locals to take part in this two week festival dedicated to seasonal produce with a variety of 29 events to enliven your palate.

Cr Susie Douglas, Chair of Gold Coast City Council’s Economic Development and Tourism Committee, said: “Food and wine is very much a part of our relaxed Gold Coast lifestyle and it’s an increasingly important part of the holiday experience for our many visitors.

“Tastes of Gold Coast is all about celebrating that lifestyle, and as its name implies, it’s a festival that’s all about enjoying life.”

Cr Douglas said the festival was going from strength to strength and in a short space of time had become an important fixture on the city and hinterland’s events calendar.

Wendy Lacey, Festival Organiser of Tastes of Gold Coast says ”Gold Coast locals enjoy an incredible lifestyle of fresh seasonal produce and world-class restaurants; we invite visitors to the region to meet the winemakers, chat to the chefs and take in some inspiring natural settings, from the ocean to the hinterland in this year’s annual food and wine festival.

“Is there a better place than the Gold Coast to enjoy great food and views?”

“This year’s festival has grown from 19 events last year to 29 fantastic events taking place on the new program which takes diners on a journey of culinary discovery from the coast to the hinterland,” Ms Lacey said

Tastes of Gold Coast is an initiative of the Gold Coast City Council supported by Gold Coast Tourism.
