The Animal Relentless Bike Tour visits Eastbourne seafront

The Animal Relentless Bike Tour rolls into Eastbourne on Saturday the 19th July and Sunday 20th July showcasing the mountain bike riding talents of legendary trials rider, ex-World champ, four times British Champ and Guinness World Record Holder Martyn Ashton and dirt jump maestro, Blake Sampson on the specially constructed Bike Park.

Over the past 6 years, the Bike Tour has continued to take the spectacle of freestyle bike shows to incredible levels. For 2008, it has raised the bar yet again and returns with the most exciting set up in bike tour history! The two shinning VW Transporter vans and matching trailers transform into the Bike Park rig with a new ramp set up, ¼ pipe and rail combo’s, giving Martyn and Blake more opportunity to lay down some massive moves.

Mountain Bike Trials legend Martyn Ashton has been the figurehead of the tour since it’s inception in 2002 and his dedication to the Tour and commitment to entertain bigger and better each year has been the inspiration for the 2008 Tour.

Martyn says: “The new rig is awesome, almost all the kit has moved up in height, as well as in technical difficulty. The riding around the arena is now far more fluid and viewing is improved, 2008 looks set to be another great year.”

Shows start at 11:00 and run throughout both days at 12:15, 13:00, 14:45 and 16:00.
