Copenhagen Fashion Weekend

24th July 2008 Print
Copenhagen Fashion Weekend What’s hot – what’s not in the coolest city in Scandinavia? Bring some fashion friends and head for Copenhagen where you can keep your eyes peeled on the Catwalks on a fun and fashion-filled short break holiday. Ranking among the top ten fashion centres in the world and a cool number one in Scandinavia, Denmark has gradually risen to a high level of fashion consciousness, hosting two annual trade-only fashion fairs known in the Fashion world as Copenhagen Fashion Week.

Running parallel to Copenhagen Fashion week is an open party for all fashion lovers. Wonderful Copenhagen, in cooperation with Danish Fashion Institute and Copenhagen’s City Centre presents, for the second running, your Copenhagen Fashion Weekend.

Fashion conscious shoppers can choose between a wide range of eye-opening and fun-filled events throughout the five days. Many of Copenhagen’s shops and squares offer activities outside the ordinary. You can watch a street level fashion show, get a makeover, hear about new trends and participate in contest for exclusive tickets to shows and after parties. What is there to wait for? We can all at last share the fashion vibe and take a close look at what is going to be hot over the next year.

As a city of fashion, Copenhagen is the perfect setting for 'fashion for the people event'. Over the last five years, Copenhagen has shown that this is the place to find some of the most stylish fashion boutiques and some of the most skilled designers. The creative strength and the esteem in which Danish designers are held around the world, is also reflected in the wide range of talent on display in the city’s fashion stores.
