Raise a glass to the Afamia Grape Festival in Cyprus During the month of October, the oldest wine growing region in Cyprus, better known as Koilani near the resort of Limassol hosts the annual Afamia Grape Festival.

This festival offers an opportunity for the locals to celebrate the end of the harvest with wine tasting, folk dance performances and open air markets. It is a wonderful way and time of year to gain a true insight into rural Cyprus and discover the cultural and traditional ways of island life.
