August in the Oresund region means festival time First, let’s take a look at Malmo - Sweden’s third largest city. The Malmo Festival 15-22 August is one of Sweden's biggest and most loved festivals and since 1985, this annual fun-filled week has attracted more and more visitors from near and far. Here you will have the chance to see and listen to a long list of international and Swedish artists. This festival offers a great mix of folk and world music, cabaret shows, classical music, hip-hop, blues, jazz, swing and of course, the best of Swedish dance bands.
