A maze of maize in Durham

The largest natural maze in the North East of England has opened to visitors in Durham. Durham Maize Maze, an exciting adventure themed attraction, opened at Witton Hall Farm in July.

The seven acre maze, cut in the shape of a Roman Soldier, has an adventure theme where visitors become Maze Raiders, follow cryptic clues and help Dr. Wherezigon discover an ancient mythical object called the ‘Crystal Cob.’

The search for the mythical cob involves a thrilling educational journey through ancient civilisations, from Egypt to Ecuador, and provides hours of family friendly fun.
