A taste of Poland at the Mayor's Thames Festival

11th September 2008 Print
Everyone will find something attractive at Poland's stand during the Mayor’s Thames Festival. You can make your own pottery supervised by a professional Polish potter, watch Polish knights staging a medieval sword duel, admire presentations and performances by traditional Polish folk artists, dancers and singers.

Mrs Elzbieta Tomczyk-Miczka, the author of a brand new culinary guidebook to the Malopolska Region will be at the stand, signing her new cookery book "Malopolska - Finger Licking Good".

In 2008 the Polish National Tourist Office has joined forces with representatives of three Polish regions: Pomerania, Malopolska and Silesia, to make an even more attractive presentation of Poland at the London's greatest outdoor event.

If you want to find out more about Poland and its tourist attractions, please visit the stand in the European Village, and pick up a copy of the latest edition of "Discover Poland" magazine.

Come to the Polish stand at Thames Festival next week and have a great day out!
