Have a bewildering Halloween

9th October 2008 Print
What better way to keep the kids occupied during Half Term than a visit to BeWILDerwood, the curious treehouse adventure park, in Norfolk? The Twiggles and Boggles have an inspired ‘Giggling Pumpkin Parade’ event from October 27th to 31st October 2008 and everyone is invited to come and giggle! And to top the spooks and goolies over Halloween, Tom Blofeld is launching his latest children’s book – BeWILDerBats!

“The whole week is going to be heaps of fun in our treehouse forest. Children are invited to make their own magical masks. At the end of the week on Friday 31st there will be a huge Giggle Parade through the forest and the launch of our latest and most spooky book, BeWILDerBats,” says communications co-ordinator, Jo Artherton.

This magical park has lots to offer families, from a glorious boat ride through the Dismal Dyke, magical treehouses and zip wires, to the new Toddlewood area for under fives.

Also there are new eating areas where you can enjoy locally sourced and where possible organic food at ‘Cosy Cabin,’ Snack Shack’ and ‘Munch Bar’.

Children and adults can spend time in the shelter of the woods, climbing up into the treehouses, zooming down the slippery slopes, getting lost in the ‘Mudlde Maze’ and swinging as fast as you dare on the zip wires!

Creator and author Tom Blofeld says: “We are looking forward to our Half Term activities and hope that we have heaps of giggles.”

Perfect for a family day out, BeWILDerwood is located in woodland off the A1062 near Wroxham, situated near the beautiful surrounding of Hoveton Little Broad, Norfolk.
