Iconic Pool of London attractions join forces
For the first time, the world-famous visitor attractions of the Pool of London have joined forces in a unique promotional venture that enables families and school groups to explore this historic area and its iconic landmarks in an innovative and entertaining way.HMS Belfast, All Hallows Church, Tower of London and Tower Bridge have just launched their new, free Pool of London ‘Explore Kit’ for kids. The Kit encourages children to explore all four attractions and their surroundings with the aid of quizzes, drawings, maps and other play sheets that are lively, informative and great fun.
Created by Guy Fox Limited, experts in arts and heritage education projects for children, the Explore Kit is packed with everything needed to plan a rewarding family visit.
Kids get to grips with history through play sheets on a range of absorbing subjects such as code-breaking, matching monarchs or a light-hearted look at Samuel Pepys’ Diary, with an Official Explorer Stamp Certificate as an added goal. Adults will appreciate the wealth of practical information included in the Kit. Excellent maps and listings cover all requirements of a family day out, from where to find boat services or baby changing facilities to where to buy ice cream or Asian food.
“This is certainly an exciting venture for all the attractions involved” said Emma Parlow, Senior Marketing Executive for Tower Bridge. “This is the first time we have all united for such an engaging project, and I am positive that kids will love using the Explore Kit and treasuring it as a keepsake of their adventure around the Pool of London.”
The complete Pool of London Explore Kit can be downloaded as a PDF from each of the attractions’ websites, free of charge. In line with the attractions’ environmental policies, this allows paper wastage is be kept to a minimum as Kits are printed only on demand.
