R.S. Hispaniola steps up the entertainment for diners The R.S. Hispaniola Bar and Restaurant, a ship permanently moored on the Embankment, sees a familiar favourite on City Cruises' boats jump onboard to provide diners with some great entertainment. Jacqueline Faye, a popular performer on the London Showboat for a number of years, will entertain diners every Tuesday evening, from the 18th November 2008.

Faye will pay homage to Ella Fitzgerald and sing from a repetoire of songs that celebrate the music of George Gershwin, Cole Porter and Irving Berlin.

Diners on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday will not be left out thanks to the resident pianist Norman Treiger who plays and sings his own eclectic mix of classics and own compositions, as well as performing special requests.

As the party season hots up Treiger will play Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday lunchtimes during December and there will be a disco on all four evenings.

The R.S. Hispaniola also caters for corporate functions and weddings and is available for private hire.
