Audi R10 to make UK public debut Autosport International
Courtesy of Shell Racing Solutions, the double Le Mans-winning Audi R10 will make its UK public debut on the MIA stand (No.6400, Hall 6) at Autosport International, NEC, January 10-13, 2008. An example of the diesel engine that powered it will also be displayed. Moreover, the man behind this all-conquering unit, Ulrich Baretzky, will visit the MIA stand on the first day of the show.Nowadays regarded as the business hub of the exhibition, the MIA stand will serve as both the Business Centre for the show's organisers, Haymarket Exhibitions, and the MIA Members' Lounge, which is being run in Association with Scottish Development International (SDI). SDI will be hosting a variety of top Scottish motorsport companies during the event, including CA Models and the Knockhill Circuit. More than 27,000 trade visitors will transact over £400million of business during the two trade days of the show.
The Autosport International Business Centre will play host to all the show's overseas visitors, the UKTI/MIA inward Mission of some 25 key motorsport companies from countries all over the world, and specially invited delegations from the Marine and Defence industries. The five VIP meeting rooms are being sponsored by emlaw, Scottish Development International and Towergate tlc.
