Palm Beach County hosts annual music festival
Flagler Drive is the place to be during West Palm Beach's largest annual waterfront festival, attracting more than 300,000 people. SunFest is Florida's largest music, art and waterfront festival. Held annually the first weekend in May, it features performances by more than 60 national and regional musicians and the works of more than 165 artists. Dozens of live concerts grace the four stages during this event.The festival, which proves to be exceptional value for money with a 5-day advanced booking pass costing a paltry $54 per adult, is held between April 29th and May 3rd, 2009, and will see Brit band UB40 perform. Tribute acts for The Beatles, The Who, and Jimmy Hendrix will be joined by James Taylor, 311, David Cook and many more musical acts expected to take to the stages over the 5 day festival.
The work of more than 165 national artists will be on display, including jewellery, painting, pottery & ceramics, photography, sculpture, wood, arts and crafts, and a mini-SunFest with kid-size fun, activities and entertainment is planned.
Tickets are $29 at the gate. A two-day advance discount pass is $39 and a five-day advance discount passes is $54. Children 6 and under are free with a paying adult and advance tickets for children 6-12 are $8; senior tickets at the gate are $19
