Breakthrough bands head to the Balearics

Boasting its strongest and most diverse line up to date, Ibiza Rocks is adding a host of the finest breakthrough bands to the stellar line up. On July 7, Calvin Harris’ new prodigy Burns will put on a special DJ set in support of the Scottish star and Kissy Sellout.

July 14 will see London lads Golden Silvers play their funk-tinged pop in support of headliners Keane. On July 21, fellow London lads Filthy Dukes will support Groove Armada.

Making a welcome return to Ibiza Rocks, Reverend and the Makers and then The Enemy will take to the stage on August 4. Next up on August 11, Example, the man behind the MASSIVE underground smash 'Hooligans' with Don Diablo and newcomers Newham Generals will support Dizzee Rascal.

The Scandinavian genius duo Bloodshy + Avant, who wrote and produced Britney's 'Toxic' and have worked with Kelis and Madonna will deliver their super group side project MIike Snow, alongside fellow producer Andrew Wyatt, as they support Vampire Weekend on August 18 for a set that will include the hugely hyped single ‘Animal’.

Super cool NYC hipsters The Virgins will support MGMT on August 25 and then the most talked about British band of the past six months, The Big Pink, will help headliners The Klaxons bring the Ibiza Rocks 2009 closing party to a rousing climax!
