Ideal for small gatherings and special occasions, the venue offers lucky diners the rare chance to spend time taking in the diversity and beauty of almost 3,500 diverse and beautiful bottles at their own pace.

Contemporary Scottish cuisine created by the award-winning chefs from Amber restaurant, nestled beneath the attraction, promises to be just as memorable. The menu offer a rich selection of delectable dishes, with something to suit every palate.

Chefs combine starters such as the adventurous Abroath smokie panacotta with a range of decadent main courses, including roasted saddle of venison with smoked bacon and redcurrant sauce. Dundee marmalade and whisky ice cream cake is a highlight of the deserts, putting a contemporary twist on the traditional, and fresh produce from local suppliers is incorporated throughout.

A hidden treasure trove in the heart of Edinburgh’s old town, the Diageo Claive Vidiz Collection of Scotch Whiskies is the culmination of a new £3m Scotch whisky tour and can also be hired for tutored tastings. Sumptuous table settings, a glittering Swarovski crystal chandelier, marble floors and atmospheric lighting illuminating the bottles in an amber hue, all contributing to the creating the distinctive atmosphere of the luxurious space.

Diners can also enjoy a pre-dinner drink from the new whisky and cocktail bars, adjacent to the Collection, while they admire stunning panoramic views over Edinburgh’s skyline.
