Saga celebrates Mini’s 50th with treasure hunt

Saga Holidays, in association with Warner Leisure Hotels, has created a new Mini Adventure experience in ten UK destinations to celebrate Mini’s 50th birthday on 26th August, 2009.

Participants will drive a Mini through some of the country's finest scenery equipped with a camera, compass and written directions. With a number of questions to answer along the route and a list of photos to take, at the end of the drive points are awarded for the most original pictures, correct answers and the correct mileage to get back to base.

Nidd Hall, an historic house set in 45 acres of landscaped parkland and close to the beautiful spa town of Harrogate and Yorkshire dales, is just one of many stunning backdrops where customers can try out the Mini adventure.

Prices from £524* for 7 nights per person, and a supplement of £55 per person for the Mini Experience.

Saga Holidays are available to people aged 50 or above (although a travelling companion can be 40 or above).

To participate in the Mini Experience, drivers must have held a UK driving licence for at least two years and a maximum of three points on the licence within the past five years.
