Café Fresco is latest addition to Gibraltar’s Ocean Village
Every growing metropolis features businesspeople reaching for that shot of caffeine to kick-start their day and Gibraltar’s Ocean Village is no exception. After launch in early September, Café Fresco will be quenching a thirst for coffee right on the doorstep at the entrance to Leisure Island.
Alexis Hrissidis, Manager of this new outlet, comments, “Ocean Village is a mixed-use marina venue that is constantly evolving and adapting to meet local needs and demands. A high-quality coffee outlet similar to those found in High Streets across major cities in Europe has been high on the wish-list and in September we will deliver. With 300 workers in the marina itself, a further 2,000 or so in the adjoining commercial developments and several thousands more within walking distance, we expect Café Fresco’s tills to be constantly ringing. And, that’s without factoring in a steady flow of tourism on the Rock. Café Fresco will also serve fresh pastries, sandwiches, salads, cold drinks and alcohol to satisfy every palette.”
With coffee by Italian brand Illy, tea from organic fair-trade Hampstead Tea and hand-made pastries from Barcelona-based PastisArt, Café Fresco has been conceived with the support of market-leading suppliers. Conveniently opening from 8am through to 8pm, capturing both office- and homeward-bound traffic, the Café will also have indoor and outdoor seating to suit all weathers.
