A Frank Lloyd Wright designed home has opened in Pennsylvania’s Polymath Park Resort adding to his existing properties in the State which include Kentuck Knob and Fallingwater. Duncan House, a 1957 Usonian home is one of only four in the country where you can actually spend the night and experience the Wright lifestyle.

Built in 1957, the Wright-designed home was dismantled from its original location in Lisle, Illinois and moved to Polymath Park Resort, Pennsylvania. Duncan House is complemented by two other Usonian-style homes that were designed for the original 1960s vision of Polymath Park by Wright’s apprentice, Peter Berndtson. After many months of complex craftsmanship, the home has re-emerged as a stellar example of Wright’s Usonian designs.

Duncan House’s tours and lodging provides first-hand experience of Wright’s vision. One of only four Wright buildings to offer overnight lodging, Duncan House is uniquely positioned to attract international visitors. It is convenient to Pittsburgh and easily accessible from the Washington D.C. area, as well as being a short day trip from many metropolitan areas.

Duncan House at Polymath Park Resort is close to Wright’s Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob as well as Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Hidden Valley Four Season’s Resort and Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa and stands as one of the Laurel Highlands’ newest attractions in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
