Jambo Jambo Harrods Kuoni Travel, Serena Hotels and Kenya Airways have announced that they will be running a joint in-store promotion at Harrods, launching on 28th December 2007, running for the month-long duration of the famous Harrods Winter Sale. Almost 100,000 people are expected to visit Harrods - and that’s just on the first day!

All Harrods customers spending over £100 in store in a single transaction, will be offered the chance to win a luxury 10-day trip to Kenya including a luxury safari at the exclusive Ol Pejeta House in the Sweetwaters Conservancy, followed by a stay at the Serena Beach Hotel and Spa on the captivating Shanzu Beach, north of Mombasa. The winner and their guest will travel in high style with leading Longhaul tour operator Kuoni Travel, flying in Kenya Airways’ Premier World Class – which offers flat beds, mood lighting, audio visual on demand and 5-star service.

Branding on the competition forms, till receipt, store guide and various plasma screens around Harrods will focus primarily on Kenya as a destination, but other African countries will also be promoted include Tanzania, Zanzibar and Rwanda.

Be sure to walk past the window displays along Brompton Road, (enter via Door 9, closest to soft accessories). There will be a large double window dedicated to The Winter Sale Competition, complete with a Kuoni information desk should customers be interested in finding out more about the destinations – or to book their next African adventure! Kuoni Travel is producing a mini brochure especially for Harrods customers featuring key Serena properties and packages using Kenya Airways.
